Yesterday night was a Rooftop Live of the Belles & Whistles!! Well, it supposed to..., but suddenly hideously strong storm of rain hit our town and there was no way to play on the Rooftop. So, we changed the location to the Emily's apartment, so, it was quite "homely" atmosphere, but I really enjoyed that! ;P There is nothing better way to spend the night than drinking beer and chatting with cool new people, and of course listening nice music.
I was really happy about people liked my CD cover design and its packaging design. Many of them were actually sold, so, really thank you for buying CDs! ;P I think this project is really meaningful for myself. Because, creating music visual is one of my dream in the future. And simply people liked my design and purchasing something I made, that's invaluable thing for me, as a graphic designer. And of course I'm happy to support my friends' band Belles & Whistles. This time, one of my theme is "hand made", so I created hand cut stamp logo, wood letters, and using a lot of type stamps and old cuts as a design material. I think they worked well so far. Now I'm creating the last piece, which is motion graphics, I mean, music video. I'm sill struggling, (movie making is tough and time consuming!) but, hopefully I can finish soon, because presentation day is actually tomorrow...! haha, that's scary! I might can't sleep tonight again, but I'll do my best. Summer Sonic Music Festival, and maybe also Beyoncé, is waiting for me to come, so I should work hard now!
